Among the most demanded features by our users, the multiple selection of availability time slots when scheduling field service operations or deliveries is no doubt on the top of the list. Therefore, to meet the needs of the greatest number of users, our team has just added this option to AntsRoute! 🤩
Adding tasks in response to incoming calls is one of the most used planning methods on AntsRoute. This is why our technical team has just redesigned the display of this page.
The redesign of this page is also enhanced by a valuable new feature: the possibility to select several availability time slots when scheduling field service operations or deliveries.
So far, our users have been able to view the days of availability for a single selected time slot. Today, they can select up to four time slots.
Here is how it works ? 👇
First, just do what you usually do: go to the ‘Schedule’ module, click on ‘Add deliveries’, search for or add a customer and fill in the details of the task.
The first changes can be seen in the ‘Planning dates’ box. You have three options on the interface:
For each of the above options, you can define up to four time slots at which your customer is available to be visited by a technician or to receive a parcel.
Actually, this is what happens after you click on ‘Search availabilities’ which is really interesting… From now, you can display for each day the previously selected time slots which are available. And as usual, for each of the availabilities, you can have an estimate of the number of extra miles to travel.
Note: The information on completed, upcoming and scheduled tasks for a particular customer is now available in the ‘Customers’ (or ‘Patients’) module.
