Here is a new feature that should delight field workers who are both in charge of scheduling orders and completing routes : the possibility to schedule new customer order directly from the mobile application. 🤗
Many of you wanted to offer your drivers the possibility to reschedule the next order for a given customer from the mobile application. Here is good news for you: it’s now possible!
How it works:
⚙️ First, if you are already using AntsRoute, you must activate this feature. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Mobile application settings’. From this page, activate the option ‘Allow drivers to schedule a next visit’.
📱 When it comes to validate a step from the mobile application, the driver can decide to schedule another order. He just has to choose the option ‘Validate and schedule next order’.
🗓️ Like from the Web interface, the driver determines a duration, a date and time slot of visit, the quantities to be delivered if necessary. Furthermore, files and comments can also be added.
✨ One final validation and it’s done!
Do you want to reschedule a route that has already been completed or a route which has been planned but has not started? Good news! From now, you can directly duplicate a route from the analysis module.
In concrete terms, you must go to the ‘Route report’ tab of the ‘Analyze’ module. Then, select the date on which this route was planned or completed. Finally, click on ‘…’ > ‘Duplicate’ and choose a planning date. And that’s it!
