Access the AntsRoute mobile application in offline mode

Have you ever tried to validate the completion of visits in the hospitals where the internet connection is slow? Have you ever wanted to know the address of your next delivery when you were in an area with no network coverage? 🤯
Well! We have exciting news that could change your working days! Our mobile application AntsRoute is now available in offline mode!

What is the offline mode?

The offline mode lets your delivery drivers or technicians carry on with their activities without worrying about the internet connection that is not working or that is slow. In concrete terms, drivers who are in a remote area where the cellular network is poor or absent, can still view the details of their routes, validate each step with the corresponding proof of delivery and much more.

How does the offline mode work?

If your smartphone has an internet connection, you can view all your data anywhere in real time. However, when you are offline, you will not receive any new updates or notifications, but you will be able to view the data that was already available when you still had an internet connection. In addition, changes made from the mobile application in offline mode will be stored and synchronised with the server as soon as the network is available again.

What happens when you carry out an action offline?

🚫 The driver can see an icon in the top right corner of his smartphone screen indicating that no internet connection is available.

💾 If the drivers perform an action, AntsRoute stores all the data until it is synchronised.

🔄 Once the internet connection is available, the actions carried out are synchronised. The changes made by the account administrator will be visible on the mobile application. The administrator will be able to view the proofs of delivery from the AntsRoute web interface.

What can I do in offline mode?

In offline mode, your drivers can perform the most important actions. Here is an exhaustive list of the actions you can perform offline:

• Access the list of work orders in the route.
• View the details of work orders and customers.
• Validate the completion of work orders with proof of delivery (photos, comments, signature, etc.).
• Cancel work orders.
