If you run a shop and organise in-house home deliveries, we have some great news for you! You can now create a database of items in AntsRoute.
Initially, we developed the item database to meet the needs of users who deliver food baskets to customers, but this feature is not just for delivery professionals! Ready to discover this latest feature? 🤩
Thanks to this item database, you can enter into AntsRoute all the products that your company offers and that your drivers deliver during their routes.
And that’s not all! If you run a field service company, you can also benefit from this functionality. For example, you can enter the parts that will be used by your technicians during maintenance or repair operations. When creating an item, you must enter the following information:
From the AntsRoute mobile application, your drivers will then be able to view the quantities of products to be delivered or used for each step of their route.
⚙️First, you need to activate the “item management” option by going to the “Settings” > “General Settings” module.
🗃️ Once this feature is activated, you can access the new tab entitled “Item database” in the “Settings” module. From this page, you can create your items by entering the name, the reference and the price.
☁️ If you have a large quantity of products to add, it is no longer feasible to manage them manually. Therefore, we offer you another option: import a spreadsheet file in Excel or CSV format with your list of items. In a few seconds, you can add many items to your AntsRoute account by clicking on “Import items”.
🗓️ You can then enter the products to be delivered or the parts to be used and the corresponding quantities when scheduling a delivery or a work order.
