These include food products such as fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products. Maintaining the cold chain is particularly important to prevent spoilage and bacterial growth. But this also applies to pharmaceutical products, such as vaccines, heat-sensitive medicines and biological samples. What are the specific transport constraints for sensitive or perishable products?

1. Respecting the cold chain
