The AntsRoute booking site has a new look

If you’re already using our booking platform, which allows your customers to plan deliveries or field services online, you’re going to be delighted with this latest update. And if you haven’t yet explored this functionality, you’ll soon be convinced to take the plunge!

The AntsRoute team has been hard at work over the last few weeks redesigning the booking site. Our aim has been to create an interface that perfectly matches your needs, with even more options. Are you ready to discover what’s new? We can’t wait to tell you all about it.

What is the booking site?

For some time now, we have been offering our users vientchezvous.com, a booking platform that makes it easier for their customers to book home appointments online.

In practical terms, end customers can schedule a delivery or service themselves at any time, in compliance with the constraints you have defined. The appointments set by customers are automatically synchronised with the AntsRoute interface. This automation represents significant time savings for operations managers.

You’ll no longer have to worry about making appointments over the phone, because your customers will be doing it themselves.

Simplified appointment booking for your customers

From the home page of your booking site, your customers can choose one of the types of appointment you offer. For each type of appointment, customers can see a description and the duration of the service at their home. In addition, your customers can now access a presentation of your company, with a description of the business and photos.

To confirm an appointment, your customers will need to create an account by entering their contact details (last name, first name, e-mail and postal address) and telephone number. Depending on your settings, your customers will have to fill in additional custom fields. The data is sent directly to your AntsRoute account.

The final step is to select an appointment date and time slot. That’s it! The service or delivery is automatically included in the route of one of your field workers.

From their account, your customers can access a tab with their past and future appointments. From this page, they can also perform these two actions for confirmed appointments:

• Add the appointment to the calendar.
• Cancel an appointment.

How do I access this booking site?

If you want to set up your booking site from your AntsRoute account, go to “Settings” > “Booking site”.

Note: The booking site is available from the Pro offer.

First, you need to fill in the general information:

• Define the URL of your booking site.
• Enter the title of the page that will be displayed on the home page.
• Add a brief description, for example to give your customers some useful information.

New feature: you can now add a presentation of your company. AntsRoute allows you to enter the following information:

• A presentation of your company and its services.
• The URL of your website.
• Up to 10 photos showing your activity.
• The URL of your privacy policy.
• A message on the use of data to comply with the GDPR.

Once this is done, you can define the types of appointment available for online booking. From the booking site, your customers must choose a type of delivery or service. For each of these types, you need to define the duration in minutes spent on site. You can also specify the skills required to carry out a service, and even a time slot to be respected.

To take things even further, AntsRoute offers other parameters that are particularly useful for improving efficiency:

• A maximum distance (in kilometres) authorised for adding appointments, i.e. the booking site will not offer customers availabilities that add more kilometres to the route than the defined limit.
• A number of days after which customers can book an appointment. The aim of this function is to prevent customers from selecting a date that is too close to the current date. For example, by entering a value of “3 days” at the time of booking, customers will be able to schedule a service or delivery in at least 3 days’ time.

Finally, users can customise the style of the booking site to match their corporate image:

• Add a company logo ;
• Define a main colour for the booking page.

Once your booking site has been created, you can share the URL with your customers or integrate it directly into your website.
