AntsRoute 4.3: improvement of the sectorization features
A new version of the route optimization software AntsRoute is available! After several weeks of development, it’s time to announce the release of AntsRoute 4.3. This version includes new features which make the interface even more comfortable for users. These features meet the needs of professionals looking for solutions to divide visit and delivery area into sectors that could be different for each day of the week.

The satisfaction of these professionals is our priority. Therefore, we focus on meeting their needs thanks to the development of route optimization tools. As a consequence, the sectorization features of our route optimization software was improved. Users are now able to create daily sectors. AntsRoute 4.3 also includes minor improvements: management of cancel reasons and reworking the design of the agenda.
Users of our route optimization software AntsRoute have been able to add comments while cancelling deliveries and visits for several months. To make the process easier and to help schedulers and drivers to save time, it is now possible to create beforehand a list with several cancel reasons. By clicking on the “settings” tab, you display the “cancel reasons” page, where you can add your cancel reasons. For example, « customer was absent »; « address was not found»; « customer cancelled appointment » and so on.
Deliverymen and technicians sending a cancellation from the mobile app AntsDrive are now able to choose a cancel reason directly from the list provided. It is certain that your drivers will save time!
Make the use of the route optimization interface easier is one of our priorities. That’s why, our software engineers have reworked the design of the agenda. Users of AntsRoute can see the name of their customers directly on each visit and delivery which are scheduled. It is also possible to display the agenda according to the different sectors. For example, you can display the agenda of deliverymen and technicians assigned to Paris sector through a single click on the button “+” which is located next to the related sector. This reworking will be followed by other improvements.
Features are the same: drag and drop appointments; confirm appointments; put appointments on hold; reschedule or unplan appointments.
Your deliverymen and technicians have a single departure place. Your personnel are regular. Are you looking for solutions to assign your field workers to different sectors? Thanks to AntsRoute 4.3 you are now able to divide your delivery and visit area into daily sectors.
You activate the sectorization by clicking onto “sites” in the “resources” tab. Then, you must check the box “activate sectorization” in the “site settings” tab.
By clicking onto “sectors” in the “resources” tab, you display your different sectors on a map. You are certainly able to “draw new sector” or “edit” a current sector to integrate a place of delivery or visit located next to this sector. To assign one of your agents to an existing sector, you must click onto a sector. Then, click onto “add” and choose your deliveryman or technician. You are also able to remove an agent from a sector by clicking onto “…”. Do you want to divide your area into daily sectors? You must click onto the different days of the week in the “sectors” tab. Then choose the related sector for each day of the week. You can of course assign the same sector for several days.
