Additional types of actions will gradually be added to the automation system.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Create_an_automation\">Create an automation<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To access this new feature, go to:<br \/>\n<strong>Settings &gt; Automations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will find two tabs:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li><strong>Automations<\/strong>, to create and manage your rules;<\/li>\n<li><strong>History<\/strong>, to review automations that have already been executed and their results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To create a new rule, click <strong>+ Automation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take the example of an SMS reminder sent automatically one day before a delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Start by entering the name of the automation and, if you wish, a description so that other users on your AntsRoute account can quickly understand its purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Then define the trigger. In our example:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>Object type: <strong>Delivery<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Date field: <strong>Scheduled date<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Execution time: <strong>Before the date<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Delay: <strong>1 day before<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Execution time of day: the time at which the SMS should be sent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can then add conditions so that the automation only runs in specific situations, for example for a particular type of delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The final step is to define the action to perform. When a route includes one or more cancelled stops, the total is displayed next to the route status. To learn more about custom fields for routes, read our <a href=\"https:\/\/support.antsroute.com\/hc\/en-gb\/articles\/50489941169425\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>support article<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"set-departure-locations-based-on-previous-routes\"><span id=\"Set_departure_locations_based_on_previous_routes\">Set departure locations based on previous routes<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Your drivers do not always finish their day at their usual departure location.<\/p>\n<p>To better manage this type of organization, you can now <strong>set the departure locations of multiple routes based on the arrival locations of previous routes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This feature is particularly useful when a driver finishes a route at a specific location and needs to depart from the same place on a future working day.<\/p>\n<p>To use this feature:<br \/>\n<strong>Organize &gt; Agenda &gt; Select routes &gt; Actions &gt; Edit starting location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then simply select a <strong>reference date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For each selected route, AntsRoute retrieves the arrival location of the route completed by the driver on that date and uses it as the new departure location.<\/p>\n<p><em>Good to know: if a driver did not have a route planned on the selected reference date, their departure location will not be changed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If the routes for the new date had already been planned before making this change, remember to <strong>run the optimization again<\/strong> so that the new departure location is taken into account.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-133551\" style=\"border-radius: 5px;\" src=\"https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7.webp\" alt=\"AntsRoute route planning agenda with multiple routes selected and actions to edit, duplicate, export, unplan or delete them\" width=\"1600\" height=\"948\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7.webp 2000w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-300x178.webp 300w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-1024x607.webp 1024w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-768x455.webp 768w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-1536x910.webp 1536w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-127x75.webp 127w, https:\/\/antsroute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Update-antsroute-082026-7-700x415.webp 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width:767px) 700px, (max-width:1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Easily identify specific departure locations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>When a departure location is based on the arrival location of a previous route, this information is also visible in the customer record under the <strong>Working hours, locations and skills tab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A Specific departure label identifies the relevant days and indicates which route was used as the reference.<\/p>\n<p>You can therefore immediately understand why the driver is departing from a location other than their usual address.<\/p>\n<p>&#x27a1;&#xfe0f; To view all the steps, read our <a href=\"https:\/\/support.antsroute.com\/hc\/en-gb\/articles\/48586465320337\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>support article<\/u><\/a> about route departure locations.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"prioritize-jobs-with-an-assigned-driver\"><span id=\"Prioritize_jobs_with_a_forced_driver\">Prioritize jobs with a forced driver<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A new <strong>prioritization criterion<\/strong> is now available in the jobs basket.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, these criteria allow you to tell the optimization algorithm which jobs should be planned first.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, two methods were available:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li><strong>Due date<\/strong>, used by default<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service type<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A third option is now available: <strong>Forced driver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When this criterion is selected, AntsRoute prioritizes jobs that must be completed by a specific driver.<\/p>\n<p>This option is particularly useful when certain visits absolutely require a particular field worker and you want to maximize the likelihood of those jobs being included in the schedule.<\/p>\n<p>To activate it, go to:<br \/>\n<strong>Settings &gt; Optimization &gt; Prioritisation criterion for deliveries &gt; Forced driver<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Good to know: this criterion only applies when the driver is entered directly in the job details. For list-type custom fields, you can select <strong>None<\/strong>. For text-type custom fields, the <strong>Empty<\/strong> option allows you to identify jobs where no value has been entered. For example, you can display all deliveries where the \u201cOrder number\u201d field is empty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Access the report from the \u201cDelivery completed\u201d webhook<\/strong>: the URL used to download the report is now included in the data sent for this event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More rigorous item validation on mobile<\/strong>: by default, the Item delivered in conformity status is preselected during item validation to save drivers time. Now, when at least one mandatory custom field is associated with item validation, no status is selected by default. The driver must therefore explicitly select the appropriate status before continuing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A more consistent interface in Route Report<\/strong>: the <strong>Duplicate<\/strong> and <strong>Export<\/strong> actions are now grouped under a single <strong>Actions<\/strong> button. This update simplifies the interface and makes its behavior consistent with the Organize module.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A redesigned interface for notification templates and reports<\/strong>: the configuration pages for these templates have been redesigned to improve readability and provide a better user experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Customer Report is changing<\/strong>: the dedicated <strong>Customer Report<\/strong> page has been removed.
