This enhancement makes it easier to manage more complex jobs.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Management_that_better_reflects_the_reality_of_your_operations\">Management that better reflects the reality of your operations<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Service types enable you to define standard parameters such as:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>the duration of the job,<\/li>\n<li>the required skills,<\/li>\n<li>the appointment location,<\/li>\n<li>as well as the applicable time slots.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can now combine multiple service types within a single job. AntsRoute automatically applies the necessary rules to incorporate all related constraints into your schedule.<\/p>\n<p>This allows you, for example, to plan in a single step:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>a delivery with installation,<\/li>\n<li>a job including both diagnostics and repair,<\/li>\n<li>or any assignment requiring multiple skills or consecutive stages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span id=\"Automatically_combined_duration_and_skills\">Automatically combined duration and skills<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When multiple service types are selected:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>the <strong>total duration of the job<\/strong> corresponds to the sum of the durations defined for each service,<\/li>\n<li>the required <strong>skills<\/strong> are combined,<\/li>\n<li>and the <strong>prices<\/strong> of each service are added together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AntsRoute then automatically schedules the assignment taking all these parameters into account. Only agents with all the required skills can be assigned, ensuring the job is carried out correctly.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Rules_to_ensure_consistent_scheduling\">Rules to ensure consistent scheduling<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To maintain consistency across the assignment, AntsRoute also automatically applies certain rules:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>The <strong>appointment location<\/strong> must be identical for all selected service types.<\/li>\n<li>The time slots defined within the service types are not used. Instead, AntsRoute applies the <strong>appointment booking time slots<\/strong> set in the site\u2019s default values.<\/li>\n<li>The default time slot defined in the service types is not applied in the following cases: scheduling from the delivery basket, importing deliveries, or scheduling a recurring job. In these situations, the <strong>default time slot (basket, import, recurrence)<\/strong> defined in the site\u2019s default settings is used instead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Concrete example<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nYou schedule a job by selecting <strong>two service types<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li><strong>Service Type A<\/strong>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>Duration: 20 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Required skill: Installation<\/li>\n<li>Price: \u20ac150<\/li>\n<li>Task location: At the customer\u2019s premises<\/li>\n<li>Time slot: 08:00-10:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service Type B<\/strong>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>Duration: 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Required skill: Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Price: \u20ac55<\/li>\n<li>Task location: At the customer\u2019s premises<\/li>\n<li>Time slot: 09:00-11:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When scheduling:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>The total duration of the delivery is <strong>50 minutes<\/strong> (20 + 30).<\/li>\n<li>The field agent must have both <strong>Installation<\/strong> and <strong>Maintenance<\/strong> skills.<\/li>\n<li>The total price of the job is <strong>\u20ac205<\/strong> (\u20ac150 + \u20ac55).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Task location<\/strong>: as both service types have the same location, they can be selected together.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>time slots<\/strong> defined in Service Types A and B are not applied. When you hover over a value, a tooltip appears allowing you to view the planned figure.
