The new <strong>vehicle assignment schedule<\/strong> makes managing these situations much easier.<br \/>\nYou can now temporarily assign a vehicle to another driver for a specific date or a given period, while keeping a clear view of the upcoming schedule.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Why_its_useful\">Why it\u2019s useful<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When creating a driver in AntsRoute, a vehicle is assigned to them by default. But in reality, it\u2019s common to need to change this assignment \u2014 for example, to cover for a colleague, due to specific internal arrangements, or to rotate vehicles as planned.<\/p>\n<p>With this new schedule, you can:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li><strong>Reassign a vehicle<\/strong> to another driver for one or more dates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>View all upcoming assignments<\/strong> at a glance in a clear table.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Optimise the use of your fleet<\/strong>, especially when it\u2019s shared between multiple drivers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#x26a0;&#xfe0f; <strong>Important<\/strong>: When a vehicle is reassigned to another driver for a given period, the original driver will not have any vehicle assigned during that time. For example, several customers living in the same apartment building or a site housing multiple businesses. Until now, users could only position or reposition a task from the list view.<br \/>\nGood news: it is now possible to do this operation directly from the map view!<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"What_are_the_benefits_of_this_display\">What are the benefits of this display?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When it comes to adding an unassigned task or repositioning an already scheduled task, the map view provides a clearer understanding of the route flow.<br \/>\nSpecifically, you can:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"imglist\">\n<li>&#x2705; Visualize the complete route in which you want to insert a task.<\/li>\n<li>&#x2705; Easily identify the exact position of the task to add or move.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#x261d;&#xfe0f; This option is also available <strong>for ongoing routes<\/strong>, directly in the \u201cMonitor\u201d module.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"How_does_it_work\">How does it work?<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol id=\"imglist-3\">\n<li>From the \u201c<strong>Organize<\/strong>\u201d module, open the \u201c<strong>Route<\/strong>\u201d tab and select a date.<\/li>\n<li>Find the relevant task, click \u201c<strong>\u2026<\/strong>\u201d &gt; \u201c<strong>Reposition<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the map view, then select the route and set its new position. For example, from the \u201cAgenda\u201d tab, simply click on the \u201c\u2026\u201d next to an agent\u2019s name to access this new menu.<\/p>\n<p>The goal? <strong>Group similar actions together<\/strong> and simplify navigation.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Favorite_actions\">Favorite actions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#x2b50; Another new feature: you can now <strong>set favorite actions<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThese appear at the top of the action menu, giving you one-click access to the features you use most often.
