AntsRoute 4.5: complete management of working hours & absences
A new version of our route planning and optimization software is available! User-friendlier and more ergonomic, AntsRoute is improving every day. Discover the new features offered by our SaaS software to make your delivery and visit route management easier. After several weeks of development, it’s time to announce the release of AntsRoute 4.5.

Antsway’s number one priority is your satisfaction. That’s why, our technical team focuses on meeting your needs by developing route optimization solutions which are even more innovative. Developers have integrated four major features to improve user experience:
The last version of AntsRoute offers new solutions to manage working hours of your agents. You are now able to define specific working hours for each week. In the tab “agents” of your “resources”, you just need to click on “working hours” and select the suitable week. You can now define specific working hours for this week.
The new version of our route optimization software AntsRoute helps you to manage short-term absence. For example, one of your technicians or deliverymen needs to be away next Tuesday? With AntsRoute 4.5, you are now able to define 1-hour absence. The management of absences is now optimal! To add an absence, you must click on the “agents” tab from “resources”. Then, you just need to click on “add absence” and fill in the fields. In the “agenda” tab from “organize”, this absence is displayed in grey.
Do you need to lock the route for only one agent? With the new version of AntsRoute, you are now able to lock a single route. In the “agenda” tab from “organize”, you just need to click on “…” and “lock the route”. A red padlock, which is located just next to the name of your agent, means that your route is locked. You can unlock the route if necessary.
With AntsRoute 4.5, you can carry out all the actions directly from the “map”. For each address displayed, you are able to confirm, reschedule, put on hold and unplan the appointment. You just need to click on the appointment and then on “…”.
Furthermore, you are able to assign an unplaned appointment to another route through a simple drag & drop from the “map”. You just need to click on the appointment, hold the mouse button and drag & drop the appointment on the suitable route. Once the route is displayed in red you can ease off. The appointment is assigned to another agent and his/her route is automated reoptimized.
