We added two new features on AntsRoute for this month of October: an optimal management of repeating appointments and an access to the history of notifications sent to customers. Discover these new features without further delay.
First, the feature that some users were looking forward to. Here it is! The users of the AntsRoute software can now easily manage repeating appointments. The management of recurrence enhances our appointment scheduling solution to make AntsRoute THE optimal solution for scheduling orders. 🙈
We are happy to present you this new feature that should make your life easier. We are aware that some orders sometimes require regular visits to clients. That’s why, during several weeks, our teams have developed this feature, which enables you to activate recurrence when scheduling an appointment. Whether it is a weekly order on Mondays and Tuesdays or a monthly order on the first Monday of each month, this new feature allows you to create a recurring appointment and all the associated occurrences at once. Definitely a guaranteed time saving for your teams!
You access this feature directly when adding a new appointment from the “Appointment making” tab. All you need to do is to activate the “Recurrence” toggle in the appointment scheduling form.
The recurrence is defined by two elements: a period and a frequency. First, the period is characterised by a start date and an end date during which the appointment is repeated. The frequency can be daily, weekly or monthly. Depending on the chosen frequency, it is necessary to define the corresponding interval. Using this feature, it is for example possible to plan a monthly appointment that takes place on the first Monday of the month, every month from July 10, 2021 until March 10, 2022. You just need to create a single appointment to plan all related occurrences.
A daily frequency allows you to add an appointment that is repeated daily according to an interval in number of day(s). For example, every two days.
A weekly frequency allows you to add an appointment that is repeated on the same day(s) of the week according to a number of weeks between each occurrence. For example, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, every three weeks.
A monthly frequency allows you to add an appointment that repeats on the same day of the month according to an interval in number of months between each occurrence. For example, the 15th of each month or the first Saturday of the month, every two months.
And there is more good news for you! We are delighted to announce that this feature is available to all users of the software from the Essential plan. You also have the opportunity to discover this feature during your trial period.

The technical team is also happy to present you a feature that makes it easier to track the sending of notifications to each of your customers. Today, users have access to the notification history with the following information:
The date and time of sending ;
The media (email or text message) ;
The type ;
The name ;
The message content ;
The person who has sent this notifications (agent, user or automated).

The display of availabilities when making an appointment by insertion has been improved. It is now possible to have an estimate of additional kilometres for each availability.
