The AntsRoute technical team does its best to offer its customers new features. Here is an overview of what’s new in August:
Duplicate route(s) over several days ;
Display the break of the agents in the agenda ;
Define the maximum transportation time (for pick-up & delivery routes).
That’s not all, there are more features coming with this new version. Discover all these new features now!
Many of you have been waiting for this first feature: it is now possible to duplicate routes over several days! 🎉 Thanks to AntsRoute 4.27, you can now duplicate one (or more) route(s) over several days of the week for a given period. This feature is particularly useful for professionals who make regular routes or have to respect frequencies to visit their customers.
The duplication allows you to schedule on new dates routes which are identical to a reference routes. These routes keep the scheduled hours of visit, the duration and the agent assigned.
Routes scheduled after duplication also keep the time constraints (working hours, breaks, opening hours, etc.) of the reference route. When the working hours of your agents are different over days, you can restart the optimization to ensure that these constraints are met.
Support: Duplicate routes over several days
Here is the feature that should delight many of you! 🤗 The new version of the AntsRoute software allows you to view the agents’ break in the agenda. The display of the break offers a better view of the day of the field workers.
When a break has been defined for your agents, you can view it in the “Agenda” tab of the “Orgnanize” module and also in the route’s detail. You quickly recognise it thanks to the icon
This break will soon be visible from the AntsRoute mobile application.
Support: Manage agent’s breaks
To offer better service to customers using the Pro plan, we have added a new feature for the organization of pick-up & delivery routes. You can now define a maximum time not to be exceeded between the completion of a loading and the associated delivery (or between the completion of a pick-up and the associated unloading).
Once you have set this constraint in the site settings, you can define a maximum transportation time when scheduling pickup & delivery orders.
This maximum transportation time can be filled in when scheduling an appointment or in your import file by adding a column with the header “Max transport time”.
The subscription process has been modified to provide a better user experience.
The customer rating and the associated comment are now visible in the export of the completed routes or orders (for Pro plan).
