Do you have to schedule some appointments which repeat every day, every week or every month? AntsRoute has a feature that makes it easy to manage the recurrence of your appointments. Just follow the steps below:
Add a repeating appointment

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Enter the name of an existing customer in the search bar (or add a new client
).

Click on the blue “Add appointment” button from the customer card.

Fill in the “Order details” in the appointment scheduling form.

Activate the “Recurrence” toggle.

Determine a recurrence period by choosing a “since” date and “end” date.

Choose a frequency among the following options:
Daily: You must determine the number of days between each recurrence. For example, to add an appointment that must take place every three days, enter 3 in the “every” field.
Weekly: You must determine the number of weeks between each recurrence. For example, to add an appointments that occurs every three weeks, enter 3 in the “every” field. Then select the days of the week on which this appointment must take place. For example, select “Tu” and “We” to have this repeating appointment occurring every 3 weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Monthly: You must determine the number of months between each recurrence. For example, to add an appointment that occurs every three months, enter 3 in the “every” field. Then determine the day of the month on which this appointment must take place by selecting a day from the drop-down list. You can also define a custom recurrence template. For example, if you want that this appointment takes place on the first Tuesday of the month, you must select “The” and choose the desired option from the drop-down lists.

Fill in capacities, extra fields and add attachments when necessary.

Click on the green “Save the appointment” button.
Once you have added a repeating appointment, you can view it in the “Recurring appointments” menu of the “Make an appointment” tab. It is especially possible to know the status of the recurrence (active or not).
To view the list of occurrences of this repeating appointment, just go to the “Forthcoming appointments” menu of the “Make an appointment” tab. To easily identify these occurrences, you can add a “Recurrence” column in the table by clicking on the cogwheel located in the header row.
Note: It is also possible to schedule repeating appointment from the “Orders bucket” tab.
Edit a repeating appointment
Edit all occurrences of a repeating appointment :
It is possible to edit a repeating appointment (and therefore all the associated occurrences) by following the steps below:

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Enter the name of the required customer in the search bar.

Go to the “Recurring appointments” menu.
4
Click on “…” and “More details”.
5
Carry out the required changes and click on the “Save” button.
6
Click on the blue “Confirm” button.
Note: All the occurrences of this repeating appointment will be updated.
Edit a single occurrence of a repeating appointment
It is also possible to edit a single occurrence by following the steps below:

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Enter the name of the required customer in the search bar.
3
Click on the “Forthcoming appointments” tab.
4
Click on “…” and “More details”.
5
Carry out the required changes and click on the “Save” button.
6
Select “Update only this order”.
7
Click on the blue “Confirm” button.
Note: It is also possible to edit a single occurrence of a repeating appointment from the different tabs of the “Organize” module. Just open the “More details” pop-up of the concerned order.
Delete a repeating appointment
Delete all the occurrences of a repeating appointment
To delete all occurrences of a repeating appointment, just follow the steps below:

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Enter the name of the required customer in the search bar.

Click on the “Recurring appointments” tab.
4
Identify the recurrence to delete in the table.
Note: It is only possible to delete the recurrences whose state is “active”.

Click on “…” and “Delete”.
Note: The date picker is set by default to the date on which takes place the next occurrence. If you want to delete occurrences only from a certain date, just select this date via the date picker.

Click on the blue “Confirm” button.
Delete a single occurrence of a repeating appointment

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the ” Schedule” module.

Enter the name of the required customer in the search bar.

Click on the “Forthcoming appointments” tab.

Click on “…” and “Delete”.
5
Select “Delete only this order”.
6
Click on the blue “Confirm” button.
Note: It is also possible to delete a single occurrence of a repeating appointment from the different tabs of the “Organize” module. Just display the “More details” pop-up of the concerned order.
Delete an occurrence and the linked one scheduled on later dates
It is also possible to delete an occurrence on a given date and all the related occurrences that are scheduled on later dates. Just follow the steps below:

Go to the “Make an appointment” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Enter the name of the required customer in the search bar.
3
Click on the “Forthcoming appointments” tab.
4
Click on “…” and “Delete”.
5
Select “Delete this order and the following linked”.
