It is possible to define time slots that will be used when scheduling appointments. These time slots correspond to the time slot during which the company undertakes to carry out a visit. These time slots can be extended (e.g. 08:00-17:00) or short (e.g. 15:00-17:00). Defining an extended time slot allows for better results during optimization.
Add time slots
Go to the “Settings” module.
Click on the “Time slot” tab.
Click on the blue “Add” button.
Fill in the start and end of time slot.
Click on the blue “Save” button.
Note: It is possible to add, edit or delete time slots. When routes have already been built, the route optimization must be restarted.
Assign a time slot to an appointment
In the appointment making form
After having added time slots, it is possible to choose a time slot when adding an appointment in the “Add appointment” form. Select the required time slot from the “time slot*” drop-down list.
In the appointment import file
When importing appointments, it is possible to define time slots by adding them directly in a column “time slot » of the import file. The format must be HH:MM-HH:MM. For example 08:00-10:00.
Note: It is possible to add a time slot that has not been created beforehand in the “sites” tab. When importing the file, the time slots are automatically created.
Order the time slots
In order to save time when scheduling orders, it is possible to classify the different time slots according to their frequency of use. When you make an appointment, the time slots are displayed in the drop-down list in the defined order.
There are two ways to change the order of time slots:
Click on the arrows in the first column of the table ;
Drag and drop time slots.
Delete a time slot
Go to the “Settings” module.
Click on the “Time slot” tab.
Identify the time slot to delete in the table.
Click on “…” in the last column and “Delete“.
Click on the blue “Confirm” button.
Note: When you delete a time slot that has been chosen for upcoming appointments, it is replaced by the time slot placed in the first position in the time slot table.
