To schedule an appointment for a customer who is not registered on AntsRoute, just follow the steps below:

Go to the “Appointment making” tab of the “Schedule” module.

Click on the blue “Add a customer” button.

Fill in the following information:
General information
Last name ;
Address ;
First name (optional) ;
Email (optional);
Mobile number (optional).
Note: Phone numbers must be in international format. For example, +447111111111 for a phone number in the United-Kingdom. To display the “+” sign in your Excel table, you can put the cells concerned in text format.
More information
External Id (optional) ;
Phone number (optional) ;
Comments (optional) ;
Private comments (optional) ;
Files.
Note: The private comments are visible only from the web interface. The agents or deliverymen cannot view these comments from the mobile application.

Click on the blue “Save” button.

Fill in the “Order details” in the appointment making form.
Mandatory fields
Duration ;
Time slot ;
Period for searching availabilities.
Optional fields
Order type (optional) ;
Skills needed to carry out the order (optional) ;
Agent (optional) ;
Comments (optional) ;
Files, for example the purchase order or invoice (optional).
Note: The “Recurrence” toggle is designed for schedulers who need to plan some appointments which repeat every day, every week or every month. To learn more about this feature, please read this support article.
Additional fields
Capacities (when set) ;
Custom fields (when set).

Click on the blue “Search availabilities” button.

Select a date among those proposed.
Note: You can display a map by clicking on “Show map for the selected day” to view for each availability: the appointments already scheduled, the routes already determined and the location of the customer for who you are adding an appointment.

Click on the green “Save the appointment” button.
Note: The validity duration of one availability when finding new appointment can be changed in “First Name – Last Name” > “Sites” > “Settings” > “Optimization settings”.
