AntsRoute offers features that allow you to duplicate one (or more) routes over several days. The objective is to facilitate the scheduling of orders that require several visits to a customer at regular periodic intervals (respect of frequencies). To duplicate routes over several days, just follow the steps below:
1
Go to the “Agenda” tab of the “Organize” module.
2
Select the date on which the routes to be duplicated are scheduled using the date picker in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
3
Check the box(es) corresponding to the route(s) to be duplicated.
4
Click on the green “Duplicate routes” button.
5
Select the period over which to duplicate routes using the date pickers.
6
Check the boxes corresponding to the required days of the week for this period.
7
Click on the blue “Save” button.
Note: Routes created after duplication keep the constraints (working hours, breaks, opening hours, etc.) of the reference route. For example, if a reference route starts at 8 a.m., the routes created after duplication will also start at 8 a.m. even if the agent’s working hours are different for the dates on which the route was duplicated. That’s why, if you want to comply with the time constraints, you will have to restart optimization for the dates concerned.
