A site can be the headquarters of the company or a territorial entity managing its own resources. An agent can be assigned to only one site. To add a new site you must follow these steps:
Note: Only users with “administrator” rights can add, edit or delete sites.
Add a new site
General information
Enter the “Settings” module.
Click on the button “Create a new site” located in the bottom of the sidebar.
Fill in the following fields: Name ; Address ; Physical power (only for electric vehicle use).
Click on the blue “Next step” button.
Optimization settings
Check the following boxes to activate these features:
The end of the operation is strictly contained within the defined time slot (strict mode);
Take into account the traffic during the building of the routes and live tracking ;
Automated reoptimization of the remaining route end ;
Avoid toll ;
Allow partial geocoding.
Note: To not change the order of the started route when cancelling an operation from the mobile application or from the AntsRoute interface, you have to uncheck the box “Automated reoptimization of the remaining route end”.
Note: When allowing the partial geocoding, you allow the geographic information system to provide partial geocoding for an input address. For example, when you add an address located in Lambeth Road in London which is not identified by the information system (non-existent or incorrect address), you allow the system to the geocode the following address: “Lambeth Road, London, United Kingdom” (partial address).
Fill in the following optimization settings:
Validity duration of the availabilities when finding new appointment from the “Schedule” module ;
Battery Margin (only for electric vehicle use) ;
Average Electricity Cost (only for electric vehicle use).
Edit existing site
It is possible to edit the general information of an existing site and activate additional features by following the steps below:
Edit general information
Enter the “Settings” module.
Click on the “General information” tab located in the top of the sidebar.
Carry out the required changes.
Note: To update the address of your site, you must contact the support team by email at support@antsroute.com.
Edit general and optimization settings
It is possible to enable or disable some features by following these steps:
Enter the “Settings” module.
Click on the “Site settings” tab located in the top of the sidebar.
In the general settings, you can activate the features below:
Sectorization ;
Pickup & Delivery (only from Pro plan) ;
Basket of orders ;
Route import.
In the optimization settings, you can activate the features below:
Enable strict mode ;
Avoid tolls ;
Allow partial geocoding ;
Automatic reoptimization of the remaining route.
Note: To take into account the road traffic during the building of the routes and the live tracking, you must contact the support team by email at support@antsroute.com.
In the optimization settings, you can also define the features below:
Max optimization time (in minutes) ;
Max route reoptimization time (in seconds) ;
Priority mode
Validity duration of one availability when finding new appointment from Plan module (in second) ;
Filling rate of the planning when adding new appointment (%).
Note: The maximum optimization time corresponds to the calculation time to optimize your routes. This duration must be defined according to the number of orders you plan daily. The duration must increase with the number of orders.
Note: The validity duration of one availability corresponds to the timer that is displayed when making an appointment. This timer is used to manage “competition” when several users plan orders for the same site.
Delete site
WARNING: By deleting a site, you will delete all data associated with this site (customers, vehicles, agents, etc.). In addition, users with rights only for this site will be logged out and will no longer be able to access AntsRoute until they are assigned to a new site.
Enter the “Settings” module.
Click on the “General information” tab located in the top of the sidebar.
Click on “Delete site: site name” located at the bottom right in “General information”.
Enter the name of the site to confirm the delation.
