When the agents are on sick leave, on holiday or attending a meeting, it is possible to declare them absent on AntsRoute in order not to assign them any operation during this period of unavailability. Just follow the steps below:
From the “Agents” tab

Go to the “agents” tab of the “resources” module.

Identify the agent for whom an absence need to be added.

Click on “…” and “absence agenda”.

Click on the blue “Add absence” button in the top right-hand corner.

Select the “start date” and the “end date” of this absence via the date pickers.
Note: When an agent’s absence begins or ends during the day, uncheck the “all day” box and indicate the “start time” and/or the “end time”.

If necessary, add a reason for absence.
Note: The agent’s routes for the defined period of absence will then be unscheduled. Do not forget to restart the optimization for the day(s) concerned.
From the “Agenda” tab

Go to the “Agenda” tab of the “Organize” module.

From the agenda, identify the agent for whom an absence need to be added.

Click on “…” and “Add absence”.

Select the “start date” and the “end date” of this absence via the date pickers.
Note: When an agent’s absence begins or ends during the day, uncheck the “all day” box and indicate the “start time” and/or the “end time”.
