Plan visits and confirm time slots with customers
The objective is to import a list of visits to carry out between two defined dates or before a due date. Smartly plan and optimize your routes in order to save miles, time and operating costs.
Track your drivers and get performance data
Drivers stay on track and carry out visits easily. The objective is to track your technicians or deliverymen and communicate with them to update in real-time their schedule.
Hit the road with AntsRoute’s process
Plan appointments between two dates or according to priorities
AntsRoute offers several processes to smartly plan deliveries, pick-ups or visits according to company’s needs. For example, Managers have the opportunity to simply use the diffusion of appointments between two defined dates. If necessary, they are able to prioritize appointments according to delivery or on-site service due date.
Operations Managers have the means to import the list of deliveries and visits to plan directly from the interface AntsRoute through an Excel or CSV document. It is also possible to import the list from the available AntsRoute API. If GPS coordinates are not completed when you add new customers, the route optimization software will automatically geocode addresses.
Establish planning and optimize drivers’ routes
AntsRoute smartly assigns deliveries, pick-ups or visits according to the due dates. Then, drivers’ daily schedule and routes are optimally established. Appointments are planned to avoid two visits on the same day at each end of a catchment area. Routes are optimized to save time, miles and operating costs. This process takes into consideration several constraints regarding customers (opening hours, priorities, accessibility), resources (availability, skills), vehicles (type, capacity, costs, drive objectives, power engine & compartments) and traffic conditions.
Get a confirmation from customers
After having established routes and drivers’ schedules, customers receive an email to confirm suggested time slots. Some Operations Mangers call each customer to get a confirmation, others send direct emails to get a call from clients. During this process, visits are “pending”. Once customers approve the suggested time slots, visits are “confirmed”. Furthermore, several colors are used in AntsRoute to enable users to see when appointments must be confirmed.
Reschedule appointments according to customers’ expectations & complete routes
Customer confirms the suggested time slot or asks to arrange the appointment to another date. When the first suggested appointment does not meet their requirements, Operations Manager can suggest several dates and time slots to customers on the phone in a few clicks. It is possible thanks to an intuitive search.
It is notable that some businesses offer delivery, pick-up or visit without priority. After receiving confirmations from customers, the delivery route optimization software AntsRoute smartly complete routes to optimize resources.
The day before delivery or visit, customer receives a configurable text message or email. It includes all the information needed and is automatically sent through the route optimization software AntsRoute. Operations Managers also have the means to inform customers when drivers are approaching.
Track technicians and deliverymen
Technicians and deliverymen stay on track thanks to the Android mobile app AntsDrive. Furthermore, drivers send a confirmation after each visit with comment, customer’s signature and pictures. Operations Managers monitor field workers activity with geofences. Solutions offered by AntsRoute use signals from workers’ phone to pinpoint their location and be aware if a driver departs from its assigned boundary. They also have the means to exchange with drivers if necessary.
Analyze performance of your team
Delivery and multiple-stops route optimization software AntsRoute offers indicators to analyze your performance: occupancy rate of your resources, ahead, delays, etc. You can easily export documents and work on the data to carry out presentations.
